Gibson elege London Calling a melhor canção dos 80

“London Calling”, do The Clash (veja vídeo no final deste post),  foi eleita a melhor canção dos anos de 1980 pelos redatores e editores do site da fábrica de guitarras Gibson. Já pelos leitores, a escolhida foi  “Back in Black”, do AC/DC.

Com destaque também para o Guns N’ Roses que emplacou 2 canções no top 10: “Sweet Child o’ Mine” e “Welcome To The Jungle” (4º).
Detalhe: Apesar de “London Calling” ter sido lançada em 1979 na Inglaterra, ela só chegou aos Estados Unidos um ano depois, o que fez com que ela pudesse ser votada. Para os fãs do grupo (o qual eu me incluo), deverá ser lançado ainda este ano o filme homônimo.Confira a lista completa.
